Yes! Simply send me a message with the name and its gender, and I’ll provide a digital version of the name’s meaning. You’ll also have the opportunity to request any changes before your order is finalized.
When you place your order, you’ll see a personalization box where you can enter names, dates, or special wording. Please double-check spelling, as I’ll engrave exactly what you provide.
Yes! I can include names, dates, or phrases, as long as they fit the design space. If you have a special layout in mind, just send me a message before ordering.
Yes, I can send a digital proof upon request before engraving begins. This lets you confirm the design and request small changes. I don’t send proofs automatically, but I’m happy to if you ask.

Product Details & Sizing
I use high-quality wood for matting, chosen for engraving clarity and durability—specifically an oak veneer for the mats. Frames vary by style but are always high-quality and made in the USA.
Yes! Each engraved mat insert is individually cut and engraved by me in my Washington studio, with care from start to finish. Frames are sourced from trusted USA suppliers. You may order the mat alone or a complete frame-and-mat set.
Gently dust with a soft cloth and avoid water, harsh cleaners, or prolonged direct sunlight to preserve the engraving and the wood. If the wood looks dry, refresh with a light furniture polish. I recommend Old English Wood Conditioner & Cleaner (gold bottle). Avoid darker stain versions, which can reduce engraving contrast.
Most mats are designed for standard frames—4×6, 5×7, 8×10, and 11×14. Openings can fit wallet, 3½×5, 4×6, 5×7, 8×10, or custom dimensions. If you already have photos, I’m happy to size the mat to fit them perfectly.
Yes! Every listing lets you choose the mat insert on its own or a full frame-and-mat set.
Not always. The wooden mat is ⅛" thick, so a frame with a removable backing is best to allow extra space. Please check that your frame can accommodate the thickness. For a guaranteed fit, order the frame from me with your mat.
Shipping & Delivery
Yes—we ship worldwide from Washington State, USA. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout by location. Once your order is dropped off with the postal service, delivery is handled by the postal and customs systems in your country. While most orders arrive smoothly, international shipments can experience delays due to customs inspections, local holidays, or regional processing times. Tracking may pause while a package is in transit or awaiting clearance. Any customs duties, taxes, or import fees are the buyer’s responsibility. I’m always happy to help track an order if needed.
Yes! I ship anywhere in the U.S. from Washington State. Most orders arrive quickly, though occasional postal delays can happen due to weather, holidays, or other factors outside my control.
Orders are crafted, inspected, and shipped within 1–3 business days. U.S. deliveries typically arrive in 3–7 business days after shipping. International delivery varies by country and can range from 10 days to 6 weeks. If delays occur, I’m happy to help you track your package. Expedited shipping is available.
We always offer Free Standard Shipping. Priority upgrades are available at checkout for faster delivery. USPS Priority Mail (2–4 Business Days) is $6.00. USPS Priority Mail Express (1–2 Business Days) is $20.00 to $60.00 depending on the weight.

Returns & Exchanges
Because each frame is made to order and personalized, I’m unable to accept returns or exchanges unless the item arrives damaged or there’s an error on my part. If there’s an issue, please reach out—I’ll do my best to find a solution you’re happy with.
Please contact me within 3 days of delivery and include clear photos of the damage. I’ll remake your item right away and give it priority handling so it’s crafted and shipped to you as quickly as possible. My goal is to make it right without delay.
Changes or cancellations are available within 24 hours of placing your order, as work often begins quickly. If you need an adjustment after that time, please contact me—if production hasn’t started yet, I’ll be happy to make the changes for you.
Gift Orders
Yes! I can ship directly to your recipient—just provide their address at checkout.
Yes! I currently offer a gift message option so you can add a personal note. Gift wrapping may be added in the future based on interest—feel free to let me know if that’s something you’d like.
Payments & Policies
